Strategy for picking 5th.

I have the 5th pick in my PPR 12 team league. Standard scoring with return yard points. (25yds = 1 pt). Start 1QB, 2RBs, 3WRS. 1 W/R/T, 1 TE, 1 Def and 1 Kicker. I already decided to pick Gore with my 5th pick if AP. CJ, RR, and MJD are gone. I want to go WR with my next 2 picks. Who should I target with my 2nd and 3rd pick. I was thinking Desean. Anyone got any advise.

Marshall will probably still be there. I would grab him before Jackson. They didn't pay him all that money to block. He goes off this year.

Jackson would be someone to look at in the 3rd, but if Rice or Jennings is still there, I would grab them first. I like Boldin too in PPR. I don't think he has any problems adapting to a new offense. Caught 100 as a rookie, so adapting should not be an issue.

I would probably pick a WR in the 1st if I had pick 7 or higher... But i am high on Gore this year for 4 reasons. The OL was upgraded quite a bit. He looks really good and fast in workouts, the 49ers have the easiest schedule against the run this year and he is a top RB for receptions.

If your set on F.Gore, you could also go after a TE like Dallas Clark or Jason Witten with your 3rd pick and what WR's i mentioned earlier
