Looking more unlikely Stewart will be ready for Week 1

David Scott, of the Charlotte Observer, reports Carolina Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart (Achilles') will not play in the team's preseason finale Thursday, Sept. 3, and it is looking more unlikely he will be ready for the team's Week 1 game.

Honestly this guy has not practiced at all since early august. The only way to heal an achilles strain is rest. I would not be shocked to see him PUPed...which would keep him out til week 6.
