Pittsburgh Steelers OT Willie Colon restructured his contract for the upcoming season in order to ease the team's salary cap concerns. $3.8 million of his $4.5 million 2012 contract has been prorated over four years. Pittsburgh still remains $10 million over the cap, however. QB Ben Roethlisberger and LB James Harrison are both open to restructuring their contracts, too.
Colon's restructuring is the first of many that need to take place to get the Steelers some cap room. They also have more holes to fill than most teams, especially on the offensive line where Colon and co. have struggled. The Steelers haven't ranked in the top-10 in yards per rush since 2007.

Last I saw, Pittsburgh is still $11 million over cap. That is just to get under cap, not including draft picks to sign and free agents. It is one reason I am really beginning to believe that Wallace will be gone.
