Steeler QB Big Ben Has An Achillies Tendon Injury

It has been confirmed that Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has a right Achilles' tendon injury, not an ankle injury. The injury is believed to be minor. Roethlisberger needed to be carted off the practice field after sustaining the injury on Thursday. ESPN.com reports. He did have some testing done and we haven't heard any results. But it is being reported that he did travel with the team and that is a good sign.

Thank you, big clumsy Max Starks.

If they would've just selected a Tackle this year with their first round pick, this wouldn't have happened. LOL

Batch is the #2, Dixon is a little too lazy in practice to work his way up to #2 at this point. That and from all I hear, Batch continues to work well against the Steelers D in practices.

Yeah Dixon is more Antwaan Randle El as opposed to Tommy Maddox in the pantheon of former Steelers QB greats. LOL

Thats not what i am hearing at all on the news here. According to the news here , he walked off the field but still hung around practice on the sideline. They and he says he will play maybe a possession or two saturday night. Personally i really don't think he should play at all this week. Its only preseason, let the others get in some reps and practice and let him heal right. Maybe a possession or two next week.
