Standard scoring DEF

I have Minnesota @ SEA and SF on bye. I could drop MIN for SD v KC (KC gives up most points to DEF in standard)... also available is WAS v CAR TB @ OAK... not sure it's worth droppin MIN though... as seattle, even at home, is somewhat offensively challenged

Since you have two Ds the SD pickup is a bit interesting..... but SD has been so offensively challenged that the game could end up being an endless game with each team getting a couple of first downs and punting, over and over and over.... but could be worth a try, you are going to play SF the whole rest of the year.

I will assume you start SF week in and week out, and only have Minny as a fill in D. That being the case to me Minn vs. Sea or SD vs. KC will probably net the same. TB vs. Oakland seems intrigueing to me too, but don't see a great deal of added scoring there.

I probably would just stand pat if I were you.

In one league, where a lot of Ds are still rostered, I am taking a bit of am opposite tack and using the KC D tonight against the mistake prone Chargers.

Well the Chargers were a great play with D scores and and such. Rivers did a turnaround, performed well.

Sorry about the wreck Giz. Glad you're ok.

Sadly, you still have months of headache ahead of you.

Take care of yourself, gizzil, hope the insurance gods do right by you.

Speaking of Defenses this will be an interesting bye week in that we have gone through several bye weeks already. I keep a pretty good eye on the WW and since the start of the year the Browns D has been ranked 7th or 8th and have stayed that way. I must admit it has stunned me and I was sort waiting for them to drop. So some bye weeks have past and during those I have seen WW D pickups that have avoided the Browns week after week. This week, week 9 I have seen the Browns picked up in most leagues to use as a backup. Just wondering how that will work out for owners, it will be interesting to keep an eye on.
