Basically a slap on the wrist other than 2 years of house arrest. Then again, when your friggin rich 2 years trapped in your fat ass crib and huge plot of land with lots of toys and games and "things" to play with isnt too bad.

Of course he can just surrender the Florida DL after probation is up and get a license in California, one of the few "non compact" states.

For that crime 2 years house arrest isn't that bad either. Every part of the punishment is a slap on the wrist.

I have not heard anything about the house arrest all day on the radio....in fact people were talking about him playing this year after what is expected to be a Goodell suspension.....what gives? If he's on HA, I don't see how he can play. I saw PFT report this, but don't see how he can play, and travel while on HA.....

just read the house arrest would allow him to play.....so it's house arrest except the the 10+ road trips a year....ummm, yeah, that makes sense....

How about a few cold ones after practice guys? Whatya say?

With the cameras that will be following him around, that would be a very foolish move, and very possibly what could end up violating his probation.

The punishment is light, but probably not much different that it would be for someone who didn't have a ton of money.

Anybody remember the sentence that Leonard Little got?

I would be surprised if someone who didn't have a ton of money didn't get sent to prison for at least a year. I have never seen someone without money ever get this light of a sentence. Only 30 days in jail for getting drunk and then hitting someone with your car. Thats a joke.

Don't be too surprised, it happens, and it happens everyday. We are a forgiving society.

Without having facts to back me up, I would expect a first time offender in this situation to maybe spend 6 months in jail, at the most.

This is clearly me going on assumptions though, others might know facts on something like this would know more.
