Hey Outlaws, we have some nominations for our Keep It Strong Move of the Week. We take the leagues that hold their message boards on this site and look over the moves for the week and nominate the owners who made a move worthy of being named the Keep It Strong Move of the Week.

Here are the week 3 nominations:

  • Sgt John - Needing an injury replacement for Wes Welker and unsure of Elderman's status Sarge had to go to the WW in the very deep Death From Above league. Bobby Wade got the nod and while he only scored 9 pts, Sarge needed every one as he moved to 3-0 with a 1 pt victory.
  • Giants Rule 05 - In one of the closest match-ups I have ever seen GR 05 pulled out a .12 victory in Shula thanks to deciding to start Ricky Williams at one of his flex spots over a couple other choices at his flex spot (Holt, Muhammad, Jenkins). Williams responded with a 14.4 pt performance.
  • Tibet in the Landry league gave Favre the nod over Eli Manning and pulled out the win due to it. Favre led him to a 5 point victory, if he would have went with Eli the match would have ended in a tie.

I voted for Tibet.

Sarge's move was definitely "out there" but he had no choice. He was forced to the wire and made a pick-up out of necessity. We have no idea who was available that he passed over for Wade.

Tibet chose to start Favre against a respectable SF defense instead of Manning vs the Tampa Bay doormats.

It was not a situational decision, it was pure gut and it made the difference in the game.

Our league starts 4 WRs and 1 WR/TE Flex. We are a 12 team league. Basically you have to build depth or hope damn well you make the right move if injury strikes. I had 4 starters out last week, so this move saved my ass and allowed me to take an early two game lead for the Division title.

I can't vote for him. He is my son-in-law

I find myself agreeing with Tekie here, no disrespect for the Sarge move intended.
