TE Weslye Saunders has been kicked off the South Carolina Gamecocks squad by Coach Steve Spurrier, who would not go into what the deal really was.
Saunders had been the target of NCAA Inquiry regarding the Miami party incident they seem to be investigating everyone for.
Saunders elected to return to school for his senior year. He was briefly suspended early in 2010, then was praised by Spurrier for showing up to camp in excellent condition and working his tail off. Saunders was suspended shortly before the start of the season and apparently will never return.
Saunders was expected to be a high draft pick and is listed as Kiper's #2 TE behind Notre Dame's Kyle Rudolph.
