I've seen many offers that were worse than those.

My rule of thumb is not to make an offer that is insulting to the other owner. To avoid this I try to mentally switch teams and use my reaction to the offer as a guide.

I'm not a CJ owner, but I think it is only a matter of time (more sooner than later) before he knocks the rust off and starts producing his usual numbers. They just beat the Ravens through the air, and other teams are going to have to respect that.

If you think otherwise, than go ahead with the offers. The least they should do is trigger counter offers, which will promote some serious trade talks.

The second deal seems reasonable. The first one to me is really lopsided in your favor. CJ is more of an even trade with either of those RB's but not for both. Like fire said all you can do is ask.

I don't think he meant both. I took it as an either/or type situation.
lol thanks Fire. Had a blonde moment I guess.
In that case i would love that first deal myself but would take Forte. McCoy is just to fragile for me even though I think he is more talented than Forte. The Bears are built for and rely on defense and a good running game and Forte is one of greats out of the backfield when it comes to recieving. McCoy is as well but the Eagles are not built around him and i question his durability. I am just not a big fan of the Titans offense. Even though they are built around Johnson it just doesn't work as well as Forte does with the Bears. Even if the Bears running game is not working you can count on Forte getting some good screens and helping the QB out of jams.
The second one I would love to have Vincent Jackson but it is still a little early to tell if mathews is gonna disappoint or make fantasy owners happy.

Recent news on CJ:

Chris Johnson met with head coach Mike Munchak and running backs coach Jim Skipper this week.
The Titans' coaches just wanted to check in on Johnson and make sure he was feeling good mentally. "I let them know I was good," Johnson said. "They just wanted to make sure I wasn't getting down on myself." Tennessee's staff isn't going to bail on Johnson and fantasy owners shouldn't either. He's set up for a breakout game against a Broncos defense that is giving up 131.0 rushing yards per game through two weeks.
