Some Week 15 IDP stuff

Justin Durant (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against Oakland. Analysis: Given that he aggravated the injury after playing against Minnesota last week, Durant is a risky IDP option even if he does play against the Raiders.

Chris Houston (knee) is probable for Sunday's game against Oakland. Analysis: Houston has made some plays in coverage this year, and Carson Palmer is fairly mistake prone. It's not a bad week to gamble on Houston as an IDP.

Troy Polamalu (hamstring) did not practice Friday, the Assiciated Press reports. Analysis: The Associated Press article said that Polamalu is expected to play Monday against San Francisco. Fantasy owners may want to have a backup play ready in case they are in need of some IDP points come Monday night and Polamalu has trouble warming up. It appears the Steelers are just resting Polamalu but there is some reason for skepticism.

Demarcus Ware (neck stinger) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Buccaneers. Analysis: It would surprise if Ware didn't play, but he was not effective playing through the injury against the Giants. He's a risky IDP start as a result.

David Hawthorne (knee) is probable for Sunday's game against the Bears, Seahawks reporter Curtis Crabtree reports. Analysis: Hawthorne has quietly established himself as one of the league's most reliable IDP options the last three years, so he's an entirely good start against a Chicago team that called 36 run plays a week ago.

London Fletcher (ankle) is probable for Sunday's game against the Giants. Analysis: The Patriots called only 16 running plays Sunday, yet Fletcher managed to pile up 10 tackles (seven solo). His IDP owners are pretty much compelled to start him.

Stephen Bowen (knee) is probable for Sunday's game against the Giants. Analysis: Bowen has a respectable total of five sacks from the end spot in Washington's 3-4, but he's only an IDP option in deep leagues.

Cullen Jenkins (groin) is probable for Sunday's game against the Jets. Analysis: Feel free to use Jenkins as you normally would as an IDP, but the defensive tackle has not posted good numbers lately. Since Oct. 16, Jenkins has just a half sack and 18 tackles.

St. Louis Rams DE James Hall (chest) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 16. He is listed as questionable for Week 15 and will be a game-time decision.

Justin Tuck (toe) is questionable for Sunday's game against Washington. Analysis: Tuck's only practice showing this week was a limited appearance Friday, so he's a game-time decision. Hopefully you have other options.

Kenny Phillips (knee) is probable for Sunday's game against Washington. Analysis: Phillips will be there if you need him, but he's only a decent IDP option.

Osi Umenyiora (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game Washington, Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports.

Kerry Rhodes (foot) is probable for Sunday's game against Cleveland, AZCardinals.com's Darren Urban reports. Analysis: Rhodes could turn into an IDP option before the end of 2011, but he's expected to play in a rotational role Sunday.

Minnesota Vikings CB Chris Cook (undisclosed) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 16, and has been ruled out for Week 15.

yeah this worries me about ware... i definitely need some points outta every slot... and thats a saturday game... on the other hand... it's tampa...

New England Patriots SS Patrick Chung (foot) did not travel with the team for their Week 15 game and will not play. He was originally listed as doubtful for the game.

Green Bay Packers CB Sam Shields has allowed just eight completions over the past five games heading into Week 15, and the percentage of times targeted that he has allowed a completion during that stretch has dropped to 47 percent. "He's playing better," cornerbacks coach Joe Whitt said Friday, Dec. 16. "He started off slow this year, and some of that was on me. I did a poor job of getting him prepared."

San Francisco 49ers LB Patrick Willis (hamstring) is not expected to play in Week 15 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. "Whenever Patrick is ready to play, whether it's this week or next week, he'll be ready to play and he'll go right back in there," defensive coordinator Vic Fangio said Friday, Dec. 16. "I don't look at it as resting him. He's rehabbing. So when he's healthy, he'll be playing."

While Webb was limited Week 15 with a toe injury, he didn't practice at all last week leading into week 15. He did practice all week. He didn't show up on this weeks injury report at all when it came out Wed, so I assume he is good to go this week. Sorry I couldn't get back sooner with this news.
