Are the Raiders ready to make a playoff push? Ok, I realize, no fair.

But Congrats to the Raiders who have put some memorable wins on the board this year despite a poor overall performance. It appears they may be better than most fans give then credit for.

Sadly, what could their record have been had they made the Qb change sooner, and had a totally healthy McFadden at Rb? dunno:

I'd love to be a fly on the wall in their front office today as they realize that same fact.

Going to be honest, I think football has really missed the Raiders playing good football... correction, I think the AFC West has missed the Raiders playing good football. This at least shows us that they have something to build on. Groom Bruce, McFadden and Murphy to take the offensive reigns. Last year they had the best secondary in the country. They're defense is not bad this year either. Like Phic said, they actually could have contended with an earlier QB change. Perhaps JMarc can learn a bit on the sideline.

And they did it with basically junk at QB. Imagine what a capable signal caller could do with those weapons at his disposal. Al will eventually wake up and force Russell and Darrius Heyiantcatchingthat Ball back in your faces. Too bad...just think if they had Crabtree and Freeman there for instance.
