cbssports.com,
Jaguars WR Mike Sims-Walker did not practice at training camp on Friday. The Florida Times-Union reports that Sims-Walker was told by the coaching staff to take it easy and practice just once a day. Walker said he has no injuries at present but he has a history of injury problems and tweaked his ankle during a May minicamp this offseason. "I feel great," Sims-Walker said. "We're just being smart. [Jack Del Rio] just decided I should practice once a day, training camp takes a toll on your body, it's a lot of running and grinding so we're just being smart with it. ... In the past I've had a couple of injuries and they came from two-a-days in training camp, so I'm just trying to prevent that."

Analysis: Sims-Walker is young, so seeing him practice just once a day at the onset of camp suggests some issues that the team might not be letting people know about. We'd like to see him practice in full daily and even get in a preseason game. Ultimately he should be fine, and he's in position to put up solid stats in 2010 as the Jaguars' top (and only?) receiving option. Consider him a low-end No. 2/top-end No. 3 Fantasy WR just to be safe, and peg him with a pick sometime after Round 7. Hopefully the time off in the summer will help him play better all season long.
