JoeBryant,
John Clayton, of ESPN.com, reports that Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan likes TE Fred Davis according to early reports, and he "absolutely" could see Shanahan run a two-TE system because of the quality of Davis and Chris Cooley and the ideal nature of the system for zone blocking running because it doesn't tip off a strong or weak side.

OUR VIEW

Cooley is still a solid pick as one of the last TE1s off the board, but Davis is looking better as a backup or bye week/injury play with every new piece of news from Washington. Davis is more effective in the red zone, so he could end up coming close to Cooley's fantasy production, even if he doesn't catch as many balls as Cooley.

This would have to knock Colley down the draft boards, IMO of course.
