Greg Johns, of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, reports Seattle Seahawks WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh said during an interview with the Sporting News that the team will make the playoffs this season. Houshmandzadeh also predicted Pro Bowl nominations for himself and QB Matt Hasselbeck. "I just want to let everyone know that Matt Hasselbeck and I will be leading the Seahawks to the playoffs this season,"

At first when i saw this i just laughed but now that i think about it, they are in a weak division, with only arizona to contend with really. Sweep the other two, then there is 4 wins, split games with arizona and now its up to 5 wins. Out of the other 11 games just win 3-4 and the playoffs are possible.

The league is going to find out how big of a blow hard TJ is now that he is out of COC's shadow......in Cincy everyone focused on COC's mouth, in truth, TJ talks quite a bit of smack himself....

....and out produced Chad over the past 3 years.

TJ- 294 rec. for 3128 yards and 25 TD's.........466 points
Chad- 233 rec. 3349 yards and 19 TD's .........456 points

Both played 45 games. I realize that Chad drew coverage over the top, but TJ made Chad's living on the otherside easier too. If you take it back 4 years, Chad takes the lead, but not by much. The Shadow was getting smaller by the year and fast. These numbers are what i feel caused chad to crater. He didn't like being #2 stat wise, even though his presence aided the other guy. He would just as soon have NO competition, and all the glory. It's too bad because together these two were very dangerous with Palmer.

lol, your hatred of anything show boaty is funny.

You ask any DC in the league who they feared more, it was COC.....that is enough for me. I love Housh, don't get me wrong, but he's a #2, not a #1. And COC was not happy to see TJ leave, there is no one in the league that COC is closer to or feeds off of more....

But back to the point (since I was talkign about COC's mouth not talent), Housh is just as flashy and arrogant as COC, just wait, guy has an ego RC will grow to hate now that he is out of the shadow. :taz:

I'm not discounting the talent at all/ Chad should have realized that TJ was a big help. The sad thing was Chad didn't like TJ getting his, and TJ got his because of Chad.

I'm actually disappointed with all the talkin TJ has been doing in Seattle. I wish he'd just shutup and PUT UP!! I'm afraid he's going to suck, but in the situation he should flourish. I thought he was a better guy than all the crap talkin he has been doing.

In that one article they quote Housh talking about how the team is him and Hasselback. Yeah right, and a defense and a kicker and RB's...come on HOUSH!! SHUT UP AND PLAY!!!

See this is my point, this is not new with Housh, but COC is such a blow hard that no one noticed....now we will and he also doesn't have someone like COC on the other side drawing the attention. This will be an interesting year for Housh, I won't touch him where he's being drafted in fantasy leagues.

I'll agree with ya on the Defense. But RB's and Kicker. Better have a look at the depth chart

haha...just making the point that there are lots of positions that make up a great football team, not just the WR/QB combo that Housh is touting. Had to add kicker in there for effect ;-)
