The magnetic resonance imaging test on Nate Burleson showed that the team’s second-leading receiver has a high ankle sprain, coach Jim Mora said today on his KIRO-FM radio show. Mora considered that good news, because he feared Burleson had damaged ligaments against the Texans. How long Burleson will be out remains to be seen. Tackle Sean Locklear missed six games with a high ankle sprain earlier this season, while cornerback Josh Wilson was able to return after missing only two games with the same injury.
John Carlson could be a nice option this week

Wide receiver Nate Burleson will miss at least this week's game because of a high ankle sprain he suffered during a punt return Sunday in Houston. He could be out for the season because of the injury, which generally keeps a player sidelined four to six weeks.
However, Burleson attempted to play through the injury last Sunday, catching one pass after suffering the injury. He is hoping it doesn't end his season.
