This is probably where somebody who has watched college knows more then me, but I have no idea who Max Hall is, and I do not believe he is supposed to be good. I would also want to get an idea of who is coming out this year. Like are there lots of RBs? Is there somebody I can target who I believe in?
If it is me, this is what I would do, I would look at this year:
First, top "5ish" gets interesting, cause what the hell does that mean? If it means exactly #5, looking at 2010 just for Top 7 RBs taken in order (its late, hope I dont miss any1)
1 - Spiller
2 - Matthews
3 - Best
4 - McCluster
5 - Gerhart
6 - Tate
7 - Hardesty
So, this year, maybe top 3 were being drafted, but seems kind of crap after! Now, yes, somebody may draft Bradford/Dez Bryant, but most likely the top 5 picks will be focused on RB, so to expect 4 out of the 5 picks to be RB is not bad. That means you just traded Schaub for Bradford or Dez Bryant.
Give me Schaub! So I would deny the trade! That all being said, I still consider Schaub a tier 2 fantasy QB. So also depends how high you value him.
And again, if next year there are supposed to be 5-6 great RBs coming out who are considered great, or if I have a great backup at QB, makes it a little easier to justify the trade.
