Schaub hits IR

Thinking its a smoke screen for other teams. They have to be interested. He's not great but alot better than anything they have on the bench right now.

Can't believe Houston would try to rely on Leinart for the rest of the season. Esp since they finally have a chance to win the division and make some playoff noise. Nothing on that bench they have now will get them anywhere this year.

What you all are missing is they have faith in Foster and Tate. With A.J. coming back and taking the coverage, they can open up alot of running room for them, and also free up the TE and backs for short passes. Leinart just has to be in control, and not be what he isn't.

I almost fell out of my chair laughing when i read that last sentence. "Leinert in control" LMAO. Everything else seems spot on but do you really want to depend on Leinert to "Be in control" when the game is on the line?

Frankly, I'm glad they did this. I've got Schaub in a keeper league and have put him on my IR, opening up a roster spot for someone that will play the rest of the season.

i think (hope) we'll be fine . . . schaub wasn't exactly racking up the stats either . . . this offense is a lot more balanced this year and even moreso to the run game when aj went down . . . screens and handoffs will be the norm with the occassional downfield throw . . . but, at least with schaub, the defense had to play honest . . . we shall see soon . . . ;)

With Foster, Tate, Owens, and AJ I like your chances.

Leinart was no big lose. Yates is much better and he showed it. With leinart in, we had a chance to win if we would stop shooting ourselves in the foot and WRs would learn to catch the frickin ball. Lewis wins my dumbass award for the week.

Coach Gary Kubiak said today that QB Matt Leinart has a fracture and needs surgery. The Texans move ahead w/ QB T.J. Yates (pictured) as the starter heading into Wk 13 vs. Falcons. Kubiak did not rule out signing another QB
.

From the Texans FB page. They plan on signing Sage Rosenfels if he clears waivers from the Dolphins. Yates is still expected to be the starter.
