Excuse me but I thought that job was CJ's.

cbssports.com,
The Tennessean reports that Titans TE Bo Scaife, who has averaged 50 catches over the past three years, has the potential to be more in 2010, which is his sixth year in the NFL. "It would be good to see him be the go-to-guy, the first-down maker, the guy that keeps the chains moving ... that type of thing," Titans TE coach John Zernhelt said. Scaife said he believes he's in great shape heading into the season. "I feel good that nothing is nagging on me, nothing like that," Scaife said. "My body feels strong, so hopefully it plays out and works out for me." A knee injury was a problem last season, when Scaife was sidelined for two of the first three weeks. He posted 40 receptions over the remainder of the schedule, but never felt like he was quite 100 percent. "If I can stay healthy, the sky is the limit for me," Scaife said. "I'm going to have a good year, better than what I had last year. I thought I had a pretty good year last year, but I'd like to have a career year this year."

Analysis: Scaife has the chance to play well for the Titans, and he and QB Vince Young have an excellent rapport. We consider Scaife a No. 2 Fantasy TE, and he's worth drafting in deep formats in leagues that require two tight ends on your roster. In standard leagues, plan on using Scaife as a bye week or injury replacement.

Can't find it now but I was reading something the otherday that stated the team was tired of waiting for him to take it to the next level and that Cook would be taking over for him real soon???? You just never know anymore with all of these independent sources and blogs.

cbssports.com,

The Tennessean reports that Titans TE coach John Zernhelt has been impressed with how second-year TE Jared Cook has done this offseason. "He's having a nice camp, really coming on," Zernhelt said. "He's become more proficient in his route-running. He's gaining strides in his run-blocking. Although he's still learning, he's having a good OTA. When he plays fast, he's a force." Zernhelt is looking for Cook to improve in his second year. "I would think so because every day is new to you as a rookie, so he's certainly more comfortable," Zernhelt said.

Analysis: Cook enters 2010 as the No. 2 TE for the Titans behind starter Bo Scaife. We see Cook making strides this year and being an increased part of the offense, but don't expect Cook to post outstanding stats. He should only be drafted in deep keeper leagues and dynasty formats this year.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Tennessean reports that Titans TE coach John Zernhelt is looking for Craig Stevens to help replace the departed Alge Crumpler, who is now in New England. "Craig Stevens had excellent OTAs with us," Zernhelt said. "There are things we always knew about him, but Alge got the reps through experience. Craig has shown he's a solid blocker, and his receiving ability and route-running is really right on track where it needs to be."

Analysis: Stevens will likely be the No. 3 TE for the Titans behind starter Bo Scaife and No. 2 option Jared Cook. Don't plan on drafting Stevens in the majority of leagues this year, but he is worth keeping an eye on in case you want to add him off the waiver wire if he's able to play like the Titans are hoping.

lets face it, the starting "receiving" Te for Tenn is the only pass catching target to get. They always throw to the TE more....Wr less. Especially with Young at Qb.

yes, CJ is the main cog, but Scaife or Cook could be solid targets for Te later in a draft.
