24. North Carolina State Wolfpack
25. Northern Illinois Huskies

Not much movement in the upper levels. I value Stanfords demolition of a Cal team that took Oregon to the wire enough to move them ahead of Wisconsin. Looking at Oklahoma State and Michigan State head to head, I have a hard time seeing the Spartans stay within two touchdowns of the Cowboys, so they leap frog them to 10.

Texas A&M of the last 5 games is a top ten team. But you have to look at the whole season, so headed into Austin 16 is about right. South Carolina gets no points in my book for being up 56-7 at the half on Troy. Youre a big boy now, thats what big boys do to the cream puffs.

Mississippi State is coming off a loss, but honestly they are much better than the three teams under them, so they will hang around headed into the Egg Bowl. Arizona and North Carolina State reappear.

25 this week was a toss up between Hawaii and Northern Illinois, but Ill take the Huskies 9-2 record, with losses to bowl eligible Illinois and almost bowl eligible Iowa State (should have kicked the PAT at Nebraska)

one confusion here. your saying. along with pretty much everybody else, alabama beats auburn yet auburn is ranked above oregon. why isn't oregon #1 instead? unless maybe you feel auburn would beat oregon .

I believe Auburn is the #1 team in the country at this time. I believe Alabama will win the game, but I cant drop Auburn on something that has yet to happen.

And yes, I believe Cam Newton can beat Oregon

Both SEC teams mentioned would beat Oregon.

As much as it pains me to do so Sarge I'll be pulling for 'Bama this weekend and I give them a great chance at beating the best team in the country. Nick will pull out all the stops in an attempt at saving a bit of this season. 3 losses, 2 against hated Auburn and LSU won't have the Bama faithful feeling cheery.
