Other than Miami no one really DID anything this week. Houston only survives its drop from 11 because of this fact.

Welcome back to the Top 25 Auburn.

You were fast on this one Sarge. 2 loss Oklahoma in front of USF? Why? What about Pitt? No love for them yet? Gotta give them some love if they beat UCONN next week.

If by some miracle the Tigers upset Florida will you finally put them in line with other pollsters at number three or so?

Ceb - OUs losses are by 1pt to the 11th and 14th ranked teams in the poll. USFs best win is over sub .500 FSU. I gotta see more out of the Bulls. Mud - Ive already said my issues in previous polls with LSU. If they beat Florida its a whole different ball game. As for Pitt, I dont like the loss to NC St. They did win Thursday when their MO is to normally blow a game like that. A win over UCONN gets them in.

VT plays BC this week. Can/will BC beat VT ? I still feel VT is overrated. And OU plays Baylor. Can Baylor pull out the upset ? OU is banged up.

I have to agree with Sarge on this one about USF. Even though I'm a huge USF fan (clearly), I have trouble even ranking them as high as Sarge did. 24th would be my place for them. FSU is proving that they're simply not a good team. The real test for USF will be a week from Thursday when they take on Cincinnati. Especially if Cinci comes into Tampa 6-0. If that happens they're easily a top 15 team. The Bulls really need to stay focused on the Big East and win out in their conference. I know Miami is going to be a huge game, but it's still the least important one on the schedule.

USF fades in conference. Thats one issue Leavitt has got to fix to take that program up the last level to perennial top 15 power.

Completely agreed. People have been saying that the only way the Bulls will be nationally recognized is if they beat the Big 3 here in FL on a regular basis. While that will help, I don't think we will be considered yearly contenders until we start winning the Big East title consistantly.

I wouldnt even say consistently. Win one every three years or so.

I was actually thrilled when South Florida was #2 awhile back. It was something different, and its just cooler because of how Leavitt built that program. Any ***hole can run for the cash at the first jump. It takes a man to raise a program like a child and stay with it long term.

I think Cinci is #5...Ohio State isnt even the best team in the state this year.

Also, Miami seems to be a top 10 team.

Everything else looks good except UGA...I dont think they are a top 25 team

Miami seems to be, but lets let things sort out another week.

Georgia has losses to Okie St and LSU. IMO they get the same treatment as Oklahoma.
