If forced to pick only one #1 Team, Id still pick LSU by way of winning its conference, going 1-1 against Alabama with its win on the road, and its defeats of the Big East and Pac-12 Champions.

Don't agree with that entirelly. Alabama lost there only game at home and so did LSU. It was basically a home game for LSU. In 2 games 'Bama outscored them 27-9 with most of that being a 21-0 BCS shutout. Without a true playoff system all the talk is just what if. So many questions year in and year out on the number one team of the nation and as the saying goes , your only as good as your last game. 'Bama won , LSU didn't. So they should be #1. And what about OSU who did win their conference game and yet still didn't make it to the big game? Alot of injustice in the system and until they change it, this topic will continue to come up each and every year.

Have seen a peek at a very early next years top 25 and LSU is number 1 and 'Bama is #3. Means nothing.

I like LSU as the top spot but just seems it is unfair to OSU now as the only unbeaten. Shouldn't they get a shot at 'Bama now?

Nothing against LSU. I like LSU. Heck MOM graduated from there. So do have a soft spot for them. We just need a better system in the college ranks than this POS BCS system.
