Yes, I believe Alabama will beat Auburn, but the Tigers will still win the SEC. From there, I believe the Sugar Bowl will bow to pressure and take the Broncos, leaving the Buckeyes to face Virginia Tech in the Orange Bowl. I also think Wisconsin will be rated higher in the BCS standings, moving them into the Rose Bowl to take on Stanford.

The Big East is a flippin mess, and this weeks game between USF and Pitt will go a long way to determining the conference champion, but at the moment I think USF has the stones to win out and grab the BCS bid. UConn is still in the mix and has a win over Pitt, but lets be honest.... Nebraska will slaughter any one of the three.

BCS National Championship Game:
TCU 31, Oregon 23 - Cal has what I believe was the best defense in the Pac-10, and they should have beaten the Ducks. TCU's defense is on a whole other level. The Horned Frogs have a great QB, smashmouth running attack, and Jeremy Kerley, a guy who can take anything to the house at any time from just about anywhere in the world. TCU can slow down Oregon, and I think the killer will be a blocked punt.

Rose Bowl:
Wisconsin 17, Stanford 14 - You'd think this one would be a shootout, but these are two excellent coaching staffs. I think you see alot of power football and hard hitting. The difference in this ball game will be the wave of RBs the Badgers can throw out there. When one gets tired, you plug in another, then another, and come the 4th quarter the Badgers are going to grind out a win.

Orange Bowl:
Ohio State 38, Virginia Tech 21 - Comes down to QBs in my mind. Tyrod Taylor has made strides, but he aint no Terrelle Pryor. When it breaks down, Pryor is going to give the Hokies fits, and he will be the best QB theyve seen all year this side of Kellen Moore. Tressel will get his guys in the right spots to make the right plays at the right moments.

Sugar Bowl:
Auburn 56, Boise State 55 2/OT- This one will be an absolute shootout. Cam Newton will absolutely run wild on the Broncos, and Kellen Moore will smoke a suspect Auburn defense. This is going to come down to Boise State going for the win...and this time NOT getting it done.

Fiesta Bowl:
Nebraska 45, USF 3 - The Huskers top to bottom are going to be far too much for the Bulls to handle. Nebraska is simply better in every possible area, and Bo Pelini will have the Huskers firing on all cylinders. Id much rather see Alabama or LSU in this spot, but with the BCS them be the breaks.

Updated to reflect Pitt as Big East Champion.

In a Nebraska/Pitt game, I think Pitt might do a touch better just because theyve been there before. Still, Id see this end Nebraska 38, Pitt 13

Personally Id rather see the BCS be able to pass on Pitt and put in LSU against Nebraska. I think Miles would give Pelini fits, and the Tigers would cause all kinds of hell for Big Red.

In that game that wont happen: LSU 40, Nebraska 30

Sarge, are these reflections because ur predicting Boise to lose to Nevada? Cause if they win out, they'd pass TCU in the BCS polls.

No. This was based on TCU and Boise going unbeaten, and Auburn dropping a spot, moving TCU to #2 nationally. But now we will never know :)
