From rotoworld,

Santana Moss is sidelined for this weekend's minicamp due to a recent arthroscopic surgery on his knee.

We don't have further details yet, but it sounds like just a minor scope. Moss could miss much of the offseason work as Shanahan & Son install their offense, so there's a danger of falling behind the curve entering training camp. Regardless, he's still the best bet to emerge as Donovan McNabb's go-to receiver.

Devin Thomas is a great late rd. pick this year. 3rd year in the league, finally has a good QB, and Randle-El is out of the picture.

Oops, from rotoworld,

Devin Thomas is sitting out this weekend's minicamp with a hamstring injury.

There's no word on the severity, but the hamstring is worth tracking to ensure that it doesn't linger. Thomas is missing out on an opportunity to pick up snaps in the new offense with Santana Moss (knee scope) also sidelined. He's missed too much practice time the past two seasons, so we'd like to see him back out there ASAP.

What about Malcom Kelley? Also 3rd year. Does he have a shot. Kelley actually looked better at times than Thomas, but lately I haven't even heard his name brought up.

good question.

I wonder if the development of Kelly or Thomas, or lack there of isn't due to lack of Qb than lack of talent. Now that McNabb is there, I wonder if we don't see a big jump. Kelly and Thomas have both had injury issues...but I would think one if not both will develop much quicker with better Qb play now.

rotoworld,

Santana Moss (knee surgery) has resumed practicing fully at Redskins Organized Team Activities.

The 31-year-old had the surgery in February and recovered quickly, missing only a handful of OTA practices. He remains a candidate to begin the season on suspension due to reports Moss received HGH from Dr. Anthony Galea.
