Saints turning a corner?

Don't look now NFL fans but the club from New Orleans has put together 4 wins in their last 5 games. Yesterday the locals had the fun of watching the Saints hang the first L on the Dirty Birds from Atlanta. In the words of Jim Mora "Playoffs." That's a steep hill to climb after the hole the team dug itself into at the start of the season but my, oh my it's fun to have fun with the Saints once again. Don't look now but the defense showed up yesterday in the dome. The defense you say? Yep, Turner who has played decent of late couldn't do jack squat against the lads in New Orleans. The offense was, well, offensive. We won't get to the promised land this year but we've turned a corner in the Big Easy. If you're a contender you'd better fear us because we make our season bu hurting yours. The commish is allowing us to try an resign our coach after he threw out the contract we'd signed with him last year. We're winning. Oysters and shrimp are plentyful and life is grand on Canal Street.

I think they've finally developed that attitude that we thought they'd have from the get go. Getting kicked in the teeth early and often took it away early. Vilma isn't hurting us that's for sho.

I've been pulling for them all along..... That game was impressive and the D came with a few good plays when needed and sometimes that is all you need for a good run.

If we still had V-Bucks, I'd bet 2-1 that the Saints cough it up to Oakland next week.

Start your Raiders!

This is the patern to allow Sean to walk if they don't want to overpay. They win without him....so do they need him? Big mistake IMO.

Oh they need him PhiCin and no one has said otherwise down here. Benson has said he's willing to make him the highest paid coach in the NFL so $$ won't stop us from resigning him. The only way he doesn't return to the Saints is if he doesn't want to. Negotiations are now allowed by the league and hopefully we'll get this thing done.
