Word is Saints RB Lynell Hamilton has suffered a torn acl at this mornings practice. An MRI has not been done as yet, but the injury is being described by Saints staff as "signifigant".

Yeah, I picked him up thinking in the case of a Thomas injury I'd be sitting on a gold mine. Didn't figure this would go the other way around. BOO!
 
Bet they wish they had Mike Bell now. Heard this might be a landing spot for Ladell Betts

They have a few unknowns in camp, but Id assume they would need another banger on the roster.

I'm with you Chris in that I wish they wouldn't bring in another RB however I feel sure that Sarge is right and another banger type back will soon settle in the Big Easy. This coaching staff likes the banger backs.
 
With it being official now, the Saints are giving former Wisconsin RB PJ Hill a long look.
