The word is that the Black & Gold club is actively shopping WR Lance Moore and the PT Cruiser. Additionally not so quiet whispers say that Darren Sproles is also available to an interested club. Pierre Thomas was far and away the best RB in the Big Easy last season but apparently the Saints would be happy to clear out some of the log jam that they've been carrying in their backfield.

I'd think that PT could draw some interest around the league and if the Saints are serious about moving the little man Sproles could be dealt away. Lance Moore? I can't see anyone giving up much for a receiver that's seen his better days.
 
Trimming his $2.9 million salary would leave no dead money, so the seven-year pro remains a candidate for release if a pay cut or trade can't be worked out.

Yup.
also, lets face it folks, teams don't value veteran Rbs anymore. There is a great deal of faith in this league that they can go and draft his replacement for much cheaper, and not sure in THIS draft that is not the case. A LOT of talent in this draft.

Which is why I am not sure they get any traction with moving either Rb. I do see enough teams hungry for wr that a deal for Moore could be worked out.
