Going into preseason last year, he was considered by most as a top 5-8 pick. Gets hurt and basically sucked the entire year. The biggest surprise for me was the fact that he was replaced on 3rd down by Ronnie Brown, when one of his supposed strengths is that he is a good receiver out of the backfield. I didn't watch many Charger games last year. Was he just awful as the stats indicate or were there other issues? Seems like he could be had cheap this year (relative for a starting RB anyway).

Any thoughts would be appreciated as I just cannot get a gauge on this guy.
 
His stock has fallen to the point it does get interesting "E." You're right again (I'm slowly getting used to that, lol). I didn't watch them either so I can't say how he actually looked.
 
I was one of the few who thought he would tank, and I was right. SD is really regretting letting Sproles go.

That said, depending on what they do in FA and or draft, if he falls to middle rounds I might gamble. No way I take him anywhere before rd 6 or 7 though. No way.

funny, cause if you read later in alot of those, they want to get another back for depth and to take load off. If you can't trust your bell cow, time to make it a steak.
 
OOOOhhh Steven Jackson in SD would be really interesting, he has same ability that LT2 had.
