10 team, 4 keeper league. Basic scoring with .5 pt per rec.

Looks like I may have the choice or keeping Mathews or trying to bait the guy with the #1 pick (I have the #2) to take Mathews and let Richardson slide to me at #2. So, who would you rather end up with for not only this year, but looking intermediate term as well.

Mathews or Richardson?

i would have to say Mathews now and in the long run. He is only 24 and has proven himself in the NFL. Had some health issues but seems good to go this season. I think SD will rely heavy on the run this season as well. Trent has a great deal of hype and potential and the browns will be giving him a heavy load as well. I just don't see him matching Mathews' stats, especially in ppr scoring.

I agree with Mud here.

I think you roll the dice with Richardson. Matthews has been dinged up. I would argue as well that in the SD passing game, the lead target is Gates, then you have some young up and coming Wrs and then Matthews.

In cleveland, the Wrs are young and unproven, and the young Qb will be dumping the ball a ton to the Rb in passes and rushes and will be the main focus of the offense.
