Rumorish:Vick To the Dolphins?

Mike Berardino, of the South Florida SunSentinel, reports when Miami Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland was asked his response to former NFL head coach Dennis Green's recent prediction that free-agent QB Michael Vick (Falcons) would end up with the team, he just smiled and offered no comment. "No comment on that," Ireland said. "That's not my deal." Green credited the "creativity" of vice president Bill Parcells as his primary reason for predicting Vick would land with the team. Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is already on record saying he believes Vick deserves a second chance to play in the NFL.

Not happening. Ireland originally stated flat out that they aren't looking at Vick and have refused to comment on it since the first time. It's the same way they treated the suggestion that Plax could come to the Phins.

Vick will still sell tickets, like him or dislike him. A decision like this could be influenced the the owner of whatever team signs him.

You could lock him up cheaply. Keep him in the background for awhile. Make a half million selling PETA protesters No Vick T-shirts out side in the parking lot. Then another half million selling Free Vick T-shirts on the side of the parking lot.

Doesn't seem like Miami would be the most likely place for Vick to land. Wasn't the drafting of White filling the billet Vick could have?

With the gimmicks that Miami was implementing on offense last year, Vick could possibly fit in very well in yet another tricked up offense. If in shape, the guy can be very dangerous on the field

You have to figure somebosy will take a flyer on Vick soon. You can lock him up long term cheaply. If you use contracts that pay mainly if your play you can afford to stash him for a year if the flaps too big.

This makes sense due to the fact Parcells doesn't have anyone currently on the team that he can simply refer to as "the player".

Not gonna happen. If he is destined to come to florida then it will be TB not miami. Parcells will have nothing of that.
