Rumor: Bears Looking At WR Marshall?

Been some rumors out there that the Bears will look to add Denver WR Brandon Marshall. This will reunite the combo of QB Cutler and Marshall, might not be a bad idea.

How can they? They don't have a First round pick next year and Denver has put a tender on Marshall for a first round pick.


I have really thought this over. If I am cincinnati, I send a huge offer to Marshall at 12:01am Friday. Why?

You have dire need at Wr, and you are expected to draft a Wr. Bryant won't be there....and you don't have any value in first round that matches Marshall's experience or physical abilities. I would do the deal with Marshall, make it too much for Denver to match...and send their first round pick and move on.

I agree, I think the Bengals should make a big play, they need to at this point. Palmer and Ocho have a few good years but they need something else at WR at this point to get over the hump.

I am just relaying the rumors going around. It's one of those ideas that sounds great but doesn't really play out well.
