WOW! They say sprinter speed and that's no joke! a sub 4.4 from a QB! His first attempt was 4.41 with the 2nd at 4.38. I won't be shocked if the official time is in the 4.4's; but still, DAMN! This is Mike Vick speed. Still feel he should be throwing as well today, but he confirmed what we all new.....kid is damn fast.

Re: RG3 wuns an unofficial 4.38!!!

That's a fast time for a RB or a WR and it's blazing for a QB. The Rams are sure sitting pretty in the draft.

I'm assuming your talking about for trade purposes, I sure can't see them taking a QB. So does Cleveland pull the trigger to move up and grab him?

Trade, yes of course. The better RG3 looks the hotter that number 2 choice looks to those in need of a franchise QB. There's even some interesting speculation about a couple of teams that don't seem to be needing a franchise QB taking a look at the number two spot. Cleveland sure seems to have what it takes to make the move up but I'm not convinced they're going to pull the trigger here.

The OT from USC would be pretty tempting for anyone who wants an achor on their Oline as well.

Wow! That is fast! I wish he was throwing, but if he throws at his pro day, it'll be fine. He probably just wants to throw to his receivers that he's more comfortable with.

I think Cleveland needs to move up and get RG3.

I don't think Cleveland moves up. I think a move up would be Washington or maybe Seattle.

Here is one to make folks think.......... Eagles spent a whole lot of time talking to the kid. How would you like RG3 as your long term backup to vick. I actually kind of find this intriguing.....

How about trading Bradford and building around griffin? Wouldn't be a terrible move for a small market.
a great thought, but Bradford has an old school salary and cap hit. Not sure anyone would be willing to deal for him, instead of talent much cheaper with RG3

Reports this morning say that Cleveland isn't showing nearly the interest that the Skins are in moving up to the number 2 spot. Rumors say that the Skins are willing to make a Ditka type of trade to make the leap to second.

honestly, if I am cleveland, I don't bite. IF a trade happens with St.Louis, then get some much needed OT or Wr help, and swing around and maybe nab Tannenhill at start of next round. Assuming he drops. I don't see giving up that much for one player. I also don't now if anyone can really deal up to #2 to get that pick, the cost in picks is a killer.

That being said, the new cap rules may help trades happen, as prices are now relatively fixed. Still, it has to be at least 2 first rounders to make sense for St. Louis to trade down. Minny might be the perfect spot, as the price drops some for the #3 pick.

Where Manning ends up is going to play a part in all of this I'm thinking. I can't see him being willing to play for Shanny but if he shocks me and goes to the Skins that would take the biggest apparent player out of the running. Constant rumors keep saying that there's a swurprise team out there that is willing to wheel and deal to move up but I've yet to see that team named.

I think where Flynn ends up effects this as well. I actually like Flynn in Cleveland alot, as they will run a similar WC offense as GB. Just not the tools. It is why I would not trade up, and go for Wr or Rb or OT there. They need play makers.

As I said, on RG3 it is known in philly that the eagles spent a whole lot of time with him at combine. That would be hilarious.

This will play a part....heard today that RG3 may cost less than Flynn to sign though. Personally, I think Flynn is being over valued.

man, talk about a stock report.

seems to me those who rise from the combine are also most likely to crash and burn.
it's not the players fault.
it's the gamesmanship.

Since when is the 40 time of a qb all that relevant?

It wouldn't be the first time this has happened. I am not sure where I am with Flynn. I love the kid cause all he does is win. But I just don't know.
