Reggie Bush....forgotten weapon?

Prior to his injury last season Bush was a monster in ppr leagues, and if you are in a league with return yds....good lord he was amazing! In only 10 games (3 of them he was not near 100% or was injured) he still managed to grab 52 receptions! If he played all 16 games he could have made a run at 100!!!! In those 10 games he managed to combine for 844 yds. again, if healthy the whole season he would have been looking at 1500-1600 combined.

NO has realized now that Bush is never going to be a 20 carry a game guy. But they seem to have settled into a 10-15 carry role plus being a main part of their passing game. If he can get back to what he was early in last season he could be quite the force in leagues that give ppr. In non-ppr leagues his value take a serious dip, but even there he has some nice value.

Biggest concern for me is his health concerns, can he stay healthy? If he can, Bush may be slippign a little further than he should.

What do you think of Reggie this year?

I'm still not sure what to make of Reggie. He is one hell of an athlete, but his skills as a RB are limited.

There are so many things to consider when calculating Reggie's value. The emergence of Pierre Thomas at RB, Reggie's proneness to injury, his inability to be an every down back, and the way NO spreads the ball around all raise concerns.

On the plus side though are his incredible receiving skills, his explosiveness as a return man, and his big play capability.

If you're playing PPR with return points, Reggie should certainly be high on your list as a RB2.

If you're in a more standard league with no PPR and no return points, you might want to shore up your RB2 with a more traditional player.

Well said, only argument you'll get from me is if you play with rt yds Reggie can be a #1 RB pretty easily, hell he was quite a bit ahead of anyone else last season when he was injured in those types of leagues with ppr. However, in regular ppr leagues, yeah, #2 RB is dead on and non ppr leagues I would not want him as more than a b/u unless it's a large league.

Injury history and off season knee work will scare me away from the guy this season.

If his ADP stays at 4.01 I will buy!!! It won't. I predict he will be a mid to late 2nd rounder this year in ppr leagues. A third rounder in regular leagues.

I like R.B. , unfortunitly he isn't the same dominant player as he was in college. His speed and quickness are very impressive but he lacks the size to play rb in todays game. There is no question he is one of the best in PR/KR and should mainly play there. On OFF , i think he would best be used in the slot position and imagine what he could do in a wildcat offensive scheme. Maybe he should go to Miami.
