Coach Mike Shanahan said that Cooley (concussion) will see a specialist over the next couple of days to "see where he's at," the Washington Post reports. It's still early in the week, but you'd have to think that Cooley is iffy, at best, for Week 7. If he is forced to miss Sunday's game against the Bears, Fred Davis would make for a solid pickup this week. We will probably hear more as the week goes on.

Cooley had 3 concussions in college so this is going to be an issue for him. As I stated elsewhere the TE position could be very weak this week.

Cooley suffered a concussion in the first half of Sunday's game but remained on the field through the third quarter, the Washington Post reports. Cooley suffered three concussions in college but considers this one to be minor in comparison. He remembers everything after the hit. If he doesn't experience any symptoms on Wednesday he will be able to practice Thursday and has a chance he'll play on Sunday.

Chris Cooley (concussion) is expected to practice without limitations on Thursday, according to coach Mike Shanahan. Cooley sat out Wednesday, but it sounds like Shanahan plans on having him for Sunday's game against the Bears. This assumes no setbacks, of course. Cooley figures to undergo baseline concussion tests Thursday morning.
