Redskins release WR Jabbar Gaffney, joins Pats.

The Washington Redskins have released wide receiver Jabar Gaffney after several failed attempts to trade the 10-year veteran, a person with knowledge of the situation said Tuesday. Gaffney, whom the Redskins acquired via trade last summer, led the team with 68 catches for 947 yards, along with two touchdowns, in 2011.

Meh, unless he goes to the Patriots his fantasy value is meager. At least he blocks for people though.

Gaffney has signed to a two-year deal with the Patriots, NFL.com reports. Analysis: Gaffney was released by Redskins on Tuesday despite recording career-high highs in 2011 with 68 catches for 947 yards and five touchdowns. He'll be hard-pressed to match those numbers in his second stint with New England.

Great move by NE. Things are crowded but no one has a monster contract there. NE can afford any package they want with a handful of guys.

You are correct, but didn't he tweet something about not being able to find his EX-wife on their anniversary, and that was what first cheesed him off, then he suspected she was with another NFL'er, and went bat****crazy...
