The Washington Redskins released RB Larry Johnson Tuesday, Sept. 21, according to Redskins.com's Gary Fitzgerald. Johnson had just five carries for two yards in two games. Analysis: Larry's lost his explosiveness and doesn't play special teams so there's no room on the roster anymore. It's hard to believe he was a top-3 fantasy RB for a 36-game stretch from 2004-2006. Redskins RB Keiland Williams has moved all the way up to the No. 2 spot behind Clinton Portis.
