Redskins QB Jason Campbell Trade Bait?

So, it looks like Jason Campbell will be traded. There are plenty of QB needy teams, where is the best fit for a starting shot? Raiders, Bills, Rams, Panthers or other?

Not a lot in the way of bait but hail I've caught fish on a rubber ball in the bast, gum too. It just takes the right stoopid fish, hey AL...

Okay, before we go down this path...lets think of one thing.

Who will back up McNabb?

Now, yes McNabb has been pretty darn reliable...but he does miss a game here or there....and have you seen Washington's OL?

If I am Campbell I want to bolt. But if I am Washington...I want some insurance for an aging Qb. I doubt they dump Campbell just to do it. They will want some value....and the left overs out there are very limiting as far as veteren back ups.

I brought that question up last night, Phic, in which Coach answered "Sexy Rexy." At this point, I think they should trade Campbell, and the Panthers seem like the best fit for the guy.

From rotoworld,

Unsigned restricted free agent Jason Campbell will opt to stay away from the Redskins' practice facility for the foreseeable future.

He met with coach Mike Shanahan on Monday, and the sides decided that Campbell training elsewhere is good for both parties. It also likely means that Campbell, who's gotten permission to seek a trade, wants out of Washington following the Donovan McNabb trade. Shanahan is expected to provide more details on Campbell's situation at Tuesday's introductory presser for McNabb. Apr. 6 - 10:35 am et

I just don't see Jason wanting to go to Oakland... Panthers are the obvious spot for him to land. Best line, best runners... they could make Jason Campbell relevant.

I don't think the Panthers are interested in Not starting Moore. Campbell is too much QB for what they may be looking for (Bulger fits this slot better). Don't think Jason is looking for a back-up role either.

AZ might be interested in a QB controversy, or SanFran but I'm still thinking Campbell to Buffalo.

I think the only places he will end up is:

Oakland - if they have given up on Russell finally.
Buffalo - if they don't think Edwards or Fitzgerald can win some this year.

Potential back up options:
Carolina - would be a somewhat home town hero back and could be a solid back up if Moore does not work out.
Chicago - they need someone don't they?

Other than that....not sure he fits anywhere else.

Oakland is a nice option. He would have a couple WRs and a TE to throw to.

I was just curious. I never know what Jerry will put behind Romo from year to year, but Id consider Campbell an upgrade.

Plus Campbell already has lots of experience with WRs that cant catch a cold in Alaska, making him and Williams a good fit.

It was my impression Kitna is holding the seat for the rookie they drafted to develop - McGee was it?
