RB Mark Ingram "day to day"

Profootballtalk.com reports that the Saints consider Mark Ingram "day to day" with a bruised heel.
We had a bad feeling about Ingram's heel (Achilles?) injury when NBC cameras showed him barely able to walk in the Saints' tunnel Sunday night, but early signs suggest a minor injury. Coach Sean Payton did concede that the Saints may work Chris Ivory (PUP, foot) into practice this week, depending on their medical staff's outlook for Ingram. Perhaps Ingram was hobbling so badly only because he was trying to keep weight off the heel as much as possible. Consider him questionable for Week 8 against the Rams.

Just guessing here, but even if Ingram's injury is minor I suspect he will miss a game or too. Saints have too many other options to risk further injury to their young star.

Rumor is that Chris Ivory was ready to return LAST week but there was no room for him.

Problem solved....for everyone except Ingram owners.
