This young man continues to shine by keeping his nose clean during an off season filled with arrest and gun toting NFL players. I finally dug up a wee bit of news on the youngster.

rotoworld,

Ray Rice recently had his wisdom teeth removed.

Obviously nothing to worry about on the top-5 fantasy pick. Rice piled up 2,041 total yards last season to go with eight touchdowns. Despite clamoring from Le'Ron McClain and Willis McGahee for more carries, Rice's role remains unchanged.

The sky is the limit for this running back.

(nfl.com)The Carroll County Times reports Wednesday that Ravens RB Ray Rice is working hard this offseason despite having his wisdom teeth removed recently. Last season, Rice used the offseason to emerge as a Pro Bowl runner as he developed into one of the top all-purpose threats in the game. Rice rushed for 1,339 yards and caught 78 passes, piling up 2,104 yards from scrimmage to rank second in the NFL behind Tennessee Titans runner Chris Johnson. Now, Rice is making a push for another big season. He's been in Baltimore ever since the season ended, reporting at a solid 210 pounds. "I came in at a good, decent weight, about 210 pounds," Rice said. "My weight fluctuates after practice. I want to stay at about 210; 210 is where I need to be." Rice drew praise from head coach John Harbaugh. "You couldn't have a better offseason than what Ray Rice is having," Harbaugh said. Other than the pain of having his wisdom teeth removed last Friday, it's been a fairly seamless time for Rice. "The swelling has started going down. It's not too bad," Rice said. "On Monday, my jaw was a little sore, but now it's pretty good. I was out there running around."

rotoworld,
Ray Rice has drawn praise from coach John Harbaugh as one of team's top offseason performers for the second straight offseason.

"You couldn't have a better offseason than what Ray Rice is having," Harbaugh said. Rice's success last year was due in part to his impeccable conditioning, and he remains at a chiseled 210 pounds again this year. Even if his receptions dip slightly, Rice remains a top-five fantasy pick.

Ray Rice is great! I wish all my dynasty and keeper leagues started last year. I had Rice on my roster in almost every league. And I nabbed him in the later rounds. It will be tough to get him this year.

The more I read about the young man the more I like him. I've considered offering Rodgers and Turner for Rice and Brady. Haven't done so yet because I'm half way scared it might go through. I have Turner at a bargain basement price as far as what round I'd lose and hate to give that up.

Is this keeper or dynasty?
