Ray Rice has been a beast lately! 441 yds, 3 TD's and 33 rec for 325 and another score.

Is Rice a legit top 5 RB or will he fade a little? What are your thoughts from here on out?

I think he is the next big star. He is on a Ravens team where the Offense is the star, and key component now. Flacco is the long term real deal, and the two will be connected art the hip for the next 4 years or so. Mason and Heap offer just enough for these two to showcase theior abilities. They need to reload at WR, but this team will be offensive from here on out.

I agree on Rice, I think he is just that damn good. However, not ready to completely buy into Flacco as an elite QB, good, yes, but not sure on if he will be able to find the next level or not.

Ray Rice does appear to be in the groove. Each year it seems that half of last years top ten RBs seem to drop out of that elite group. The right combo of Talent, conditioning and opportunity all come together and we have some new backs in the top mix. Right now it looks like Ray Rice is in a position to groove all year long.

Hoping he is just that good since I drafted him in the eighth and tenth rounds of my two leagues. I'm hoping to ride him and gore to the playoffs.

I am looking to trade Rice or Chris Johnson. I am looking for a good WR so if your interested shoot me an offer.

I am thinking out loud here...so if this rambles....bear with me.

Bengals - built on great running game (Dillon then R.Johnson) win well and make playoffs losing to Pittsburgh due to knee injury of Palmer. Def was dominant that year. Since then, offense went fully pass, Rbs soften....and they score...alot...but defense worsens.

Now we see Baltimore. Was built last year and before on dominant defense...and solid to incredible power running game. Now they have wide open offense, and score lots of points...but def. has weakened....

My point? Rice this year yes. Next year maybe. After that if Balt. has to rebuild?

Just food for thought

More food for thought, last week the Vikings defense clearly let their guard down in the 4th quarter, and lost a key player in the secondary. Players even pretty much admitted it. Were it not for that, we might not be having this top 5 discussion.

For now, I will say he is a good running back but not as good as his latest stats would indicate. Could change my mind, but clearly need to see a bigger body of work.
