Ravens RB Ray Rice Catching On.

Those of you who invested in Ray Rice (AD) have reaped huge dividends in what has to be one of this years best in the " steal of the draft" category. One of the nice aspects is that Rice leads all backs in receptions. This catchability has made it easy for him to become the primary back for the Ravens. There is no need to use another back for any sort of situational role when you can catch like this. He also has proved he has a nose for the end zone which is staving off goal-line vulturism. Not only is he leading All RBs with receptions but in his short tenure has grabbed 2 of the top 5 receiving records/games for all Ravens RBs in a single game.

If you invested/ drafted/ traded for Ray Rice in your big money league this year you should stop by an post/take a bow.

:thrash:

I took him in all 3 of my money leagues. People thought I was crazy taking him with that RBBC in Baltimore. But I knew this would be his year. I also nabbed Benson in 2 of my money leagues and im laughing about that one now too!

Look on the bright side. When you traded him away in Shula, you made such a compelling argument about how the other team had gotten such a great deal that I drafted him myself in two leagues and traded for him early in another. I had been a non-believer. Had you been selfish and kept Rice, you wouldn't have been able to help others like you did.

I owe you one. :)

Let me get this straight.

So, if you were smart enough to GRAB Rice because of his ability to catch the ball, you should Receive all the accolades you can get? So if you snagged a solid young rb you are catching tons of credit?!?!?!

Sadly, I traded Rice away in one dynasty league. It was for the best, as I was cap ridden..but still, it hurts to see guys do great after you deal them when that is why you drafted them. Then again, that seems to be my M.O. Guys can suck, but let me cut them or trade them off my teams...and they explode. :sob:

What I would like to know, is what everyone expects from Ray Rice down the stretch in November and December. Do you feel he will wear down or keep up the pace? See a continued increased role, or possibly see more RBBC and less touches?

I've got him in one of my money leagues and he's the main reason I'm in the title hunt... I've been wondering lately... where is he gonna be drafted next year? Round 1 no doubt, but where?
