What a difference two days can make in the life of an NFL player. Mid-November return? Ha- Ravens OLB Terrell Suggs is targeting and expecting to play in Sunday's game against the Texans. This injury usualaly takes nine months to heal but Suggs is going to try and give it a go after only being out six months. The Ravens could sure use a lift with their defensive players falling like flies.

His family is making plans to travel to the game and will attend if there isn't a setback in practice this week.

Updating a previous item, the NFL Network and the Baltimore Sun are reporting that the Ravens are not expecting OLB Terrell Suggs (Achilles') to return this week.
Ultra-reliable Adam Schefter's earlier reporting is being called into question. It sounds like Suggs expects and wants to play, but the Ravens intend to hold the reigning Defensive Player of the Year out. That would make sense considering the bye looms in Week 8 and Suggs is just six months removed from an Achilles' tendon tear. "He's not playing. I'd be shocked if he plays," a source told the Sun.
