My Keepers________Mark's Keepers

Bradford................... Romo
McFadden.................R. Rice
Blount .....................J. Charles
V.Jax.......................A. Miles
Williams (TB).............Witten

Brees and D. Clark are the only top 5 players at their position that are available.

Mark has offered me the 1st overall pick and the 12th overall pick for my 5th and 6th overall pick.
(we can't trade picks so we'd have to communicate our choices and trade after the draft)

I clearly need help at QB and TE while Mark clearly doesn't. Mark needs WRs and at 5th/6th could land 2 Marshall/Manningham type Wrs instead of reaching for 1 with the 1st.

My only real hold up is that there are some other decent QBs to be had if I keep my 5/6. (Shaub or Roethlisberger). I wouldn't take Clark with the #1 unless someone convinces me otherwise. If I did, I would pretty much have to start Bradford.

So what U think Outlaws? Good deal for both or Lopsided?

Draft is tonight so please sound off early.

Thanks

Looks decent for both, however, you might want to look at last year's numbers and see how big of a gap there was between Brees and Schaub. If it's significant, go for it.

More importantly though, it seems that you've made up your mind. Your post isn't really "what should I do" but more of "here is what I want to do", if you want to trade up for the #1 and take Brees and you feel that move will have the best impact on your team, by all means do so, after all, having Drew Brees on your team certainly isn't going to hurt you.

Absolutely NOT!

I am more prone to stand pat.

I wanted to post in an objective way. Mark is a member here too and this was as much for him as me.

Just wanted to hear the up and down sides for both of us.

Getting brees is nice, I love him top guy. But schaub and Ben are a lot closer to the elite QBs than in previous seasons. The whole having one of the top 3 elite QBs aren't quite the advantage it used to be. Even Staying with Bradford doesn't make me uncomfortable at all. They tossed him into the fray but they weren't bashful about it, he throws a lot every game. The Rams aren't playing the hide the young QB game, it's he's our man and we expect him to throw the ball like the O is designed for.
