ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Redskins have acquired DT Adam Carriker from the Rams. There's no word yet on what the Rams receive in return. The Redkins don't have a pick in rounds two and three, so they'll likely be dipping into next year's draft pool. Former Rams coach Jim Haslett has been pushing to be reunited with Carriker since he got the Skins' coordinator job a couple of months ago. The addition of Carriker makes it much more likely that Albert Haynesworth will be dealt in the next few days.

So Haynesworth to be dealt (Lions?) Rams now have a void to fill at DT?

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports via Twitter the Rams have traded former first-round pick Adam Carriker to Redskins.

Washington swapped spots with St. Louis in the 5th round for the pick the Rams had from the Eagles. The Rams now have three fifth-round choices after the Carriker trade.

The teams also swapped seventh-round picks, with the Redskins moving up from 211 overall to the Rams' spot at 208.

Wasn't SL initially favoring McCoy? If Bradford really is not cooperating with a pre-draft signing I can see them going another direction.
