Raider WR's

rotoworld,
Darrius Heyward-Bey reportedly enjoyed his best practice in a Raiders uniform during Wednesday's OTA workout.

Beat writer Jerry McDonald now agrees with coach Tom Cable's assessment that Heyward-Bey's work ethic is "night and day" better than last year, while Nnamdi Asomugha seconded that DHB has made major strides. Heyward-Bey remains on track to open the season as the Raiders' starting split end.

I hope DHB comes around and lives up to his #1 pick status.

Maybe the Raiders WR's might not be the best on the planet but the combo of Chaz Schilens, DHB and Lewis Murphy along with TE Zach Miller has a boat load of potential talent, will have to wait and see now that the Raiders have a legitimate QB in Jason Campbell.

rotoworld,
Darrius Heyward-Bey has added 10 pounds of muscle this offseason.

The rave reviews from DHB's offseason continue to pour in, but we remain skeptical about how much progress he possibly could have made. We'll have to see him produce in training camp and in preseason games before even thinking about taking a flier in redraft leagues.

(KFFL) Oakland Raiders head coach Hue Jackson said he needs more production from WR Darrius Heyward-Bey entering the 2011 season. "He is definitely one of the players that needs to step up and bring more to the table," Jackson said.

I like DHB as a sleeper this year. I could see him waking up for 900 yds and 6-7 TD's.

With the play of J.Ford and the signing of rookie Denarius Moore DHB better step it up

Without some solid injury free play from J.Campbell no WR has anything going for them.

Oakland Raiders WR Jacoby Ford appears to have a chance to become the team's No. 1 wide receiver this season. This report I read suggests Ford could step up and be a starter. An interesting suggestion that shows just how wide open the whole Raider WR corp is. Opportunity is the word here as anyone could step up and grab the brass ring.

DHB will be sleeping in the street after next year. That's the only kind of sleeper he will be.

Let's be honest here...Ford is NOT a #1 WR. He is solid, but not a #1 WR. He's a poor man's Mike Wallace or DeSean Jackson.

The rest of the WR in Oakland are mediocre at best.
