Radier RB Michael Bush may remain a Restricted free agent.

Bush had been considered gone in many circles as it is expected that the new CBA would make all 4 year players unrestricted free agents. The Radiers attached First and Third round picks added to his restricted tender offer in an effort to retain Bush. Bush spent his rookie year not playing football but was put on the NFI (Non-football Related Injury) list instead of being PUP ed (Physically Unable to Perform) and or IR (Injury Reserve). This distinction may mean he will retain the tender picks attached as many others become a complete free agents and would make him much easier for the Raiders to keep.

Not so sure trading M.Bush is such a bright idea, with D-Mac really only having one injury free & productive season keeping Bush is a nice insurance policy.

What about that super fast guy they drafted? (I know.. that needs to be more specific.. LOL)

Taiwan Jones? Or is he too close in style to D-mac to compliment him?

Don't forget Marcel Reece. He's a beast and can do anything and more than Bush can do. He's 6'3'' 240 lbs, has 4.4 speed and soft hands. He is likely in the plans if Bush goes away or continues to have his injury problems.

You know this team much better than I but reece holds promise.

Raiders | FB Reece using MMA to stay in shape Mon Jul 4, 10:25 PM Vittorio Tafur, from the San Francisco Chronicle, reports Raiders FB Marcel Reece has stayed in shape this offseason using a rigorous Mixed Martial Arts training program. "It's helped with my flexibility, my hip movement and my conditioning," said Reece. "It's a great workout, and I enjoy learning something new every day."
Our view: Reece has gone from undrafted free agent to starter in a matter of three seasons. He was a WR/H-back/TE in college but found a fit at Fullback for the Raiders. He's embraced the transition and gives the team big play ability from the position as evidenced by his 73-yard catch and run against the Broncos last year.

Hard worker and has had nothing handed to him.

T.Jones is super fast, 4.33 to be specific, his 2009 & 2010 seasons stats were impressive.

24 gms 383 carries for 2955 yards, 7.7 avg per run & 29 TD's also caught 64 passes for 903 yds, 7 tds.

With that speed IMO will complement D-Mac nicely.

I agree on Reece. If they move Bush, Reece should be able to take over nicely.

I agree with the above, I would let Bush go FA, and let Reece and Jones compliment what they have.

however, I think Bush will be a steal for someone. I would rather see Bengals get a bush, who is a bruiser, but can break the big run, rather than resign Benson.
