Me, not buying it at all! Oklahoma is not going to run the table IMO. To be honest though, I think this year is as wide open as I can remember. I don't see an elite team at this point. I like LSU a lot. I like Wisconsin higher than 10. The South Carolina/Georgia (if Georgia can get past Boise week 1....and that is a BIG IF) is my pick for sleeper of the year. OSU (16), ND(18), and Auburn (19) are all complete wild cards.....no idea what you will get from any of the 3 IMO. I like Texas to rebound from their 4 win season and will finish in the top 15.

The Sooners have the offense, but they are replacing guys at DT, MLB, and both Safety spots. Tom Wort will take over at MLB and is a monster, but hes young. The schedule for OU is very favorable, and we will know what that team will be when they go to Tallahassee in week 2 I think.

I dont think its that wide open. Georgia will fall, South Carolina will always have QB issues, and Wisconsin will need to get through Nebraska at some point. Ohio State can be 10-2 as easily as they can be 4-8....its all on the coach. Auburn falls to around 8-4, and ND probably wins 10 games and steals a BCS birth.

Texas won 5 last year (dont make it worse for me than it was). I think Gilbert will be the week 1 starter whether he deserves it or not, and we are looking at 7-9 wins this season, with the return to 10 wins in 2012.

I don't think it's that simple, and there is no way they go 4-8........too much talent stock piled to win 4 games. I think it is more on what happens at QB than the coach. My guess is 9 wins. If the wheels completely fall off I still think they win 7 games.

If you came back from the future and told me we would win 9 and make a bowl Id call that a very sucessful year for us with a new offense and defense.

OU just lost defensive leader Travis Wilson for 8 weeks. The Sooner Scooner looks more and more like its going to get sunk in Tallahassee.

Ohio State CAN lose 8 games. As you saw with Texas last year, talent doesnt always buy the groceries. You are breaking in a new coach and some new skill guys against some veteran teams who really dont like you guys all that much. Im not saying its going to happen, but never say never.

Georgia isnt going to win 10 games.

Im not trying to start a hype machine, and I think its well documented Im as anti ND as they come, but I think Kelley has the guys in place and the schedule to sneak in.

OSU is NOT Texas, so looking at them is not going to do much good.....and they can NOT lose 8 games.....look at the schedule and please find me 8 losses....Now I am not saying they are going to be world beaters, but 6-6 I would say is the floor with the team they have this year. Likely it's a 9-3 season IMO.
