Possible sneaky play at RB for the fantasy playoffs

Felix Jones is hurting for the Cowboys and hasn't practiced at all this week. Cowboys say they think he'll play.Hmmmm? Really? Cowboys called up another RB from their practice squad today, hmmm. If the NYG beat the NYJ in an early game the Cowboys will have nothing to play for in the later game, hmmm. I picked up Sammy Morris of the Cowboys earlier in the week with hopes of either sneaking him in as a sneaky play or stopping my competitor from doing the same to me in our $$ league finals. Book it, if the NYG win against the NYJ Jones will not see the field. There's a great chance he doesn't play in either case. If you need a RB 2 to help you this weekend grab Morris. If the team you're playing against needs a miracle at RB grab Morris.

Y'all can thank me later if you'd like.

Felix Jones is now officially a GTD for the Cowboys. Then there's this bit of news on rotoworld.

Cowboys promoted RB Chauncey Washington from their practice squad.
It's a sign that the Cowboys might at least consider holding Felix Jones (hamstring) out of Saturday's 4PM game if the Giants beat the Jets at 1PM ET. Washington would then back up Sammy Morris against the Eagles.

This same Sammy Morris came out of no where to beat me once in the playoffs and it will not happen again.

I grabbed Morris in Shula league. I probably won't need or use him but neither will the owner I am playing.

This from rotoworld
Felix Jones (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 16 after missing a third straight practice Friday.
We are growing increasingly skeptical that Jones will be active for Week 16 after Friday's activation of Chauncey Washington from the practice squad. "It would surprise me if Felix does not go," owner Jerry Jones said Friday. "On the other hand, it would be madness not to recognize that he hasn't practiced all week, so you better have another plan in place." The same holds true for fantasy owners. In a 4:15PM ET game with the best-case scenario being Felix plays against the Eagles at less than 100 percent, he's best left on fantasy benches in Week 16. Source: ESPN Dallas Dec 23 - 3:19 PM

I'm giving serious consideration to playing Sammy over Michael Turner against the Saints in my $$ league title game. It goes against everything that makes sense. I have the better team and I should win but I'm scared to death that the Saints will jump on Atlanta and take Turner out of the game. Lucky for me I get to see how a couple of his players perform in the early Saturday games before making this call and of course there's a chance that Felix will be a go on Saturday which would make this all a mute point.

yeah if the bears get ANY yards or points haha.... i did morris just cuz - might as well backup jones and block anyone from gettin him... like your thinkin mud - WHO DEY??!?!!!! GEAUX SAINTS!!!

Owner Jerry Jones acknowledged Friday that Sammy Morris will likely play extensively in Week 16 against the Eagles.
Unless you can wait until 4:15PM ET to set your lineup, the Cowboys' backfield is fast becoming a fantasy situation to avoid. "Morris has been a pleasant surprise," Jones said Friday. "He's had a good week. Sammy Morris, I think tomorrow he is going to play and he's going to play more than we thought he was going to play thinking back last week. I'm confident he will do a good job." Source: ESPN Dallas Dec 23 - 3:25 PM

Okay, Jones sings his praises, now I'm scared.

Bryan Broaddus of ESPN Dallas and Matt Mosley of FOX Sports Southwest are both hearing that Felix Jones will not play a snap in Saturday's game against the Eagles if the Giants beat the Jets at 1PM ET.
Per Mosley, Jones will still only be 50-50 to play if the Jets win.
