Portis placed on IR, ending his season

Rock Cartwright and Mason look to share the load going forward but neither will be much help to you in your fantasy football playoffs. Portis will likely be back next year and the hope is he will return with fresh legs. igsfly:

Look for the Skins to go after a young back in free agency or more likely in the draft.

1:14 ET The Redskins announced today that they have placed RB Clinton Portis on season-ending Injured Reserve with a concussion. Portis suffered the injury during a game at Atlanta and has missed the last four contests.
