Ok, The draft is over and two of the top picks at RBs seemed to have landed in good spots.

  • Knowshon Moreno RB from Georgia is a Denver Bronco.
  • Chris Wells RB from Ohio State is a Arizona Cardinal
These guys may go 1 & 2 in your dynasty draft. This will have long term implications to those who have to make that choice.

But for Fantasy Football redraft leagues the main consideration is who will do better this year. Putting these 2 RBs in the right spot among all the RBs available will be an important consideration.

So for the purposes of this poll It will be simply which RB will do better this year.

Chose Wells. He's a big powerful Beanie who has only Hightower (in only his 2nd year) to compete with for playing time.

Though Shanny got outta Denver baby, if McDaniels is anything like Belichick, he won't be too fantasy friendly with his RB's either, especially with all the ones on their roster right now. Besides, if it is anything like last year, he will be on IR after putting up nice stats in his first two games for the Broncos.

I went Wells because the question is "this year." However I feel like the better career will be Moreno's. I only feel this way because I think Arizona is in a better position to win games than the Broncos are.

This also putting faith in the fact that with Wells, Zona is going to rely on the running game A LOT more than they did last year.

Totally agree. I am thinking that Arizona will rely more on their running game this year.

If Kyle Orton uses Knowshon anything like he did Forte last year this one won't even be close.

The play calling might keep that from happening though

I went Moreno. He is a much more talented all around back. He can receive and he can run, and with the system they are going to put in in Denver...he will be used alot early.

Arizona I think will take a big fall this year...not unlike most Superbowl losing teams. As such, not sure what Wells will do...but until he can play a full season healthy...I won't put too much stock in him.

For the most part, and for whatever reason, UGA backs translate well to the pro game. Make mine Moreno.

I like both backs, but for me this all comes down to if Wells can stay healthy. If he can, he'll out produce Moreneo. But that is a big IF. If you want a safer pick, go KM, if you want to swing for the homerun, go Wells.
