Playoffs: Chargers/Bengals

Green Bay won't be the only city hosting a playoff game in extremely nasty conditions. The forecast for Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati is calling for an 80-90 percent chance of precipitation throughout Sunday's Chargers-Bengals game. Weather.com anticipates rain and eventually snow for the entirety of the Wild Card tilt, with winds in the 10-14 MPH range. Temperatures will be relatively mild at 36-38 degrees, but the National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning during the game. 4-8 inches of snow are expected. So there's a chance that most of the contest could be played in a snowstorm.

The weather favors no one in this contest since Dalton isn't exactly known for having a strong throwing arm.

Rivers has had a magical year this season. Given up for dead in most fantasy circles he has revived himself. The Chargers come into this contest riding a 4 game win streak (hello Bronco fans) and I don't think their run ends quite yet. Chargers on the road gets the win and another declared dead before his time player gets to be the star. Matthews in the snow will end the Bengals folly.

Cincy in a big way! Probably the 2nd beat team in the NFL at home this year. San Diego doesn't scare anyone. They could barely beat the 2nd string KC unit

Take the weather and Cincinnati. They can stop the run, passing won't be worth a dang, and they can run speed and power now.

rotoworld:
OLB Tamba Hali (knee) is active for Saturday's Wild Card game against the Colts.

Hali was cleared to return after making it through pre-game wamups without any setbacks. It's the first time in five weeks that the Chiefs will have both Hali and Justin Houston (elbow) healthy. Kansas City's inactives are QB Tyler Bray, OT Eric Fisher, LB Dezman Moses, TE Richard Gordon, DT Jerrell Powe, C Eric Kush, and OL Rokevious Watkins.

RCB Vontae Davis (groin) is active for Saturday's Wild Card game against the Chiefs.

Davis suffered a groin injury in Week 17 and will likely be playing at less than 100 percent. Greg Toler (groin) and Darius Butler (hip) are also active, as expected. Inactive for the Colts are CB Cassius Vaughn, TE Weslye Saunders, DB Sheldon Price, OLB Daniel Adongo, C Khaled Holmes, LG Joe Reitz, and DT Fili Moala.

This one is a toss up for me. I initially gave the edge to Cincy based on their home field record this year but then I had a dream last night that I was talking to my buddy about how SD is going to Denver next weekend and trying to get their 2nd win over peyton this season. I'll roll with my premonition and take the Chargers!

Trailing by 10 with 4:25 to play and no time outs Bengals get the ball on their own 20. I still like the road team.
